2nd Year PE Trip

2nd YearPE Trip Sept 2017

As part of our 2nd year PE programme, we will be attending Oceanics Surf School, Tramore for a full day excursion.

The students will participate in the following three activities over the course of the day.

Surfing            Instruction at the Red Cottage followed by water-based instruction by fully qualified instructors who interact with the students at all times. Lesson in waist depth water. Soft learning boards, wetsuits and booties are provided.

Eco Hike          Students explore Tramore’s unique sea shore habitats with a guide. This programme is designed to educate students on living things, environmental awareness and care. This has a cross-curricular link with Science and Geography.

Cryptic Challenge A combination of urban orienteering, brain teasers and cryptic clues. Students work in teams with their thinking caps on.

Cost €30         includes the Bus and all activities.

School rules apply and P.E. uniform is to be worn. Please bring togs, towel, packed lunch, hat and coat.

Bus will leave at 9.00am and return for 4pm.
