3nd Year  PE Cycling Trip October 2017

Last year, a cycling trip for 3rd Years on the Waterford Greenway was introduced as part of our PE program. It was a tremendous success.

The Waterford Greenway is a high quality 3-metre wide, tarmacadam surface suitable for walking or cycling. It is  45km long in a very scenic area from Bilberry, Waterford City to Dungarvan, County Waterford. Greenways are safer alternatives to streets because they separate the user from road vehicles. For this trip we will be using the services of "Greenway Bike Hire".

Your daughter will be bused from the school to the Greenway and will be supplied with a bike and helmet. Then she will do a 7km guided cycle.

School rules apply and P.E. uniform is to be worn.

Bring with you raingear, a packed lunch, snacks and drinks/water.

Cost               €12   includes the Bus, bike and helmet rental.
