1st Year PE Trip

PE Trip 2015 1st Year

Hill walking is one of the best activities to promote and maintain physical fitness. Following the recommendations of the Department of Education and Science, we have organized day-long trips for 1st , 2nd and 4th years as part of this years PE programme. Hill walking is also a great way to appreciate the beautiful countryside we have at our doorstep.

Walk safely, stay with your group at all times, abide by the rules of the leader and prepare for changeable weather. It is possible to experience sunshine, heavy winds and rain in the one day.

Please wear your PE gear, and bring with you raingear, suitable shoes for walking or runners that you don’t mind getting wet, a packed lunch, snacks and drinks/water to last you for the day.

The Ursuline supports “The Leave No Trace Ethos” so with that in mind please

  • Respect wildlife and farm animals
  • Leave what you find
  • Take home your waste and dispose of properly
  • Be considerate of others.
